Ixtapa & Zihuatanejo Transfer Reservations
REGULAR service: ContacTours regular transfers function as a shared shuttle to lower your costs. You and others arriving at the same time will share transportation to your hotels. There will be stops along the way but they are quick and provide you an extra chance to check out your new vacation surroundings. Best Day Transfer vehicles are always available at the airport and you will never have to wait longer then 15 minutes until your van will depart… guaranteed! Please note that in order to be able to offer this service at its low price a 2 person minimum restriction applies.
VIP SEDAN service: There’s nothing quite like feeling like a Very Important Person on your vacation. ContacTours VIP SEDAN service is all about you! At the airport you will receive your transportation vehicle of either the Chevrolet Malibu, Dodge Stratus or similar. As soon as you are ready to depart you will be driven straight to your hotel. This is the best option if you do not want to share your vehicle with others or if you are traveling with a maximum of 4 people total. With this personalized service, there are no waiting times and in no time you will arrive at your hotel like a star!
VIP VAN service: This service has the same characteristics as the VIP SEDAN service, with the difference that we use vans or Suburbans to transport a maximum of 8 passengers.
What happens once you arrive?
Once you have arrived in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo’s airport, you will have to clear Customs & Immigration. Waiting for you outside the arrival gate will be one of the ContactTours representatives (as seen in picture to right). They will display a banner with your name and/or the logo of ContacTours. Please note that customs procedures can take between 5 to 15 minutes depending on how many people have arrived at the same time as you. Please do not worry, we know that there can be delays and we will be waiting for you outside the Arrival Gate. Don’t forget, it will be outside so please make sure to exit the airport.
ContacTours supervisors at the airport will monitor your flight to ensure that your shuttle will be ready whenever you arrive. You will never have to worry if your flight is delayed or arrives ahead of schedule. Because we will be monitoring your flight, we will always be waiting for you at whatever time your flight arrives.
Once you have contacted our staff at the airport, please present the confirmation voucher together with valid photo identification. The ContactTours representative will guide you to the vehicle. If you have reserved a round trip transfer, you will also at this time be given the exact time of your pick-up on your departing date.
Please reserve at least 2 days in advance.
